Summer Undergraduate Research Fund

Earlier this morning, I was notified by Isaac Brewer that Ali and I were chosen to be funded by SURF. We have been given funds to work on our project this summer, which is very good news. It seems that money is normally something that holds things like this back. We had to submit our proposals by 4 April to Gerry Santoro who them worked with Jim Jansen to go over all the applications to see who to fund. I do not know how many students got funding. Our proposal said that we would research Vulnerability analysis of the stadium, Profiling of the audience body, creation of logical brains, Coding of the brains in an advanced SIM/Modeling tool (3dsmax/massive) using fuzzy logic, and Modeling and simulation of evacuation patterns of individuals in beaver stadium. I am just excited to be getting paid to do something I enjoy doing. I will be keeping you updated on our progress and hope you give me some feedback on what you think! As always, more to come.
